A Bloggers Life
I am enjoying researching on the forum OneWed.com. They had a section for "new bloggers" and I found it fascinating. Apparently, this blog has trouble with spam and abuse in the forums. Therefore, there is a probation period for new members. They require you to become a trusted member of the community before you have full access to all of the forums and board functions and options. OneWed allows users to become familiar with the site and to develop a relationship with the site and those who are on the site!

Another Day, Another Dollar
The first few weeks I have been engaged Have been CRAZY!!! I have been planning, plannng, and planning some more. I have a date, a place, and a dress!
What a joy it was picking out my dress. I had my mother, future mother in law, aunt, matron of honor, and a bridesmaid with me! When I read different blogs, I read about the ah ha moment, and when I put on the dress, I had the moment. I did not want to take off the dress. I knew it was "the one."
During all of my wedding planning I have been long term subbing in a 7th grade science and basic math class. I have been so busy every day. My days seem to never end!

First Two Weeks
During my first two weeks of engagement I am getting advice from EVERYONE. So, I have joined an online Forum to get all of the advice I might need as a newely engaged bride. Also, this way I can get tips from all over, not just my area!
Up date on the wedding planning!
I have been on cloud nine the last few weeks. Not only have I been wedding planning and reading every magizine available, but I have also been long term subbing. Time has been limited! Over the past two weeks I have asked my matron of honor and bridesmaids to be in my wedding. My fiance has also asked his man of honor and groomsmen to be in the wedding!
This week we have checked out many places for the wedding. I fell in love with one in particular. On Wednesday my parents and fiance came with me to view the venue and they also loved it. So today, I booked my date!

My fiance and I are getting married in our dream venue on July 30, 2011!!!!!
I am so excited! We will be getting married at Kindred Community Church. Now we need to find our reception site and everything else!

Engaged...To the love of my life!
The story of my engagement...
The morning of February 6th was just like any other morning for me. I woke up that Sunday morning getting ready for the day ahead of me. My family and my boyfriend's family was coming over for the day to celebrate my mom's and my aunt's birthday and the Super Bowl! I was excited because I was throwing the party. I even made a four layer red velvet cake the day before the party!
After we sang "Happy Birthday" to my Mom and my Aunt we went to my back yard to take some pictures. My family likes to capture the moment at every family function, therefore they always take pictures. I did not think twice that we were taking pictures that day.
We took a group picture, then some sub group pictures. That is when John and I took some pictures together. He told me he wanted to take some goofy pictures. At that time, my cousin took my glasses off my face. We were making goofy faces at each other and we having a great time! John then got down on one knee and said, " Kristen Lynne Mackin, Will You Marry Me?"
Before he even finished asking I started to cry. I said Yes! Apparently, I said it so softly the first time no one heard me that he asked me again!
He asked, I said yes! I am engaged to the love of my life!
